► A professional security officer locks the
front gate at about 9pm with a combination
padlock.
(The combination will be issued to you on arrival). After dialling this number, press
button under lock to release the shackle.
Please re-lock after you,
remembering to scramble the numbers. N.B: AFTER DARK, YOU WILL NEED A
TORCH TO SEE THE NUMBERS!
► Shopping:
there are stores in Woodhouse Eaves & Quorn selling groceries,
newspapers, etc. A TESCO superstore is located at Shelthorpe on the Woodhouse side of Loughborough (3 miles), just off
National Cycle Route No. 6. Please ask
for directions. The entrance/exit to
TESCO is always very busy: take great care if approaching by bike.
Arrival:
Please
do not arrive at the site before 4pm Friday. On arrival please report to the
information tent to register.
Meet for guided runs at lay-by near front entrance to the Hall.
Alternatively, you
may prefer to do your own thing at your own pace. Route advice is available for those who want it: please ask at
the Information Tent. A number of recumbents are expected and special led rides
may be arranged for them.
